Budget websites: our prefab website service

Prefab websites are based on choosing from a selection of pre-fabricated template designs, saving time on design & development and resulting in a great modern website at much lower costs than a custom designed website.

Squarespace

Our current chosen platform for pre-fabricated websites is Squarespace. We chose Squarespace because their award-winning templates have a modern minimal design, which means that the look and feel is dictated by the content and imagery added; making each website unique to each business.

Process & Timescale

Research & Discovery | allow one week

Based on an initial meeting and a short research and discovery phase, we will determine the most appropriate template to use for the website, and establish the information architecture (IA) i.e. the sitemap and an overview of information to be included on each page.

Template Customisation & Initial Content Entry | allow two weeks

We customise the chosen template to include the client’s logo and reflect their established branding: customising fonts and colours throughout; choosing suitable stock photography and/or iconography etc. We will then populate the website with the agreed initial content to illustrate how all pages/sections of the website will work.
